Thoughts on a 1st House Moon Season

Scorpio Season just ended and I wanted to write some reflections while they are still fresh. 

My Moon is in Scorpio which means that this season offers new energy to my emotional body. Knowing this I observed my emotions more carefully. I noticed myself struggling between old emotions and conflicting new ones. I am in a much more stable job and financial fears were huge this season and I had to use a lot of effort to remind myself that I no longer have to feel that way. I was blessed with honest conversations with my partner about money and with assurances about career progress. I even developed a new Astrology Coaching program that I am SUPER excited to share with the world. I know that I will be financially okay - This is one big way my emotional body is experiencing new things. 

The gift astrology gives us is that we can catch these moments and recognize where we may be drawn into old beliefs that would keep us operating at a lower vibration and manifesting the same old narrative. 

There were a few other ways my emotional self felt like there was renewal. I can say that I was living in my emotional body most of the time in Scorpio Season. Now that Sagittarius is here and my Moons 2nd house is activated I want to take it a step further and consider what emotions I actually value and what material items hold emotional value as well. For example; clothes that look good, fit well and last (and are likely to cost more) are something new I value this year, and having those types of items in my closet provides me with some emotional stability, knowing that I have clothes I look good and feel cute in. 

This short reflection is just one way that I get to look at my astrology each day. Examining the transits in this way has truly benefited my life by making me a more mindful person and making me very aware of my own cycles, likes, dislikes and insecurities.
